How it works
Each day you practice spending a growing amount — starting at $1,000 on Day 1 and increasing by $1,000 each day, up to $30,000 on Day 30 — as if all your bills are already paid. The point is noticing what you actually value when money isn't an issue. Over 30 days, patterns appear so you can see what you truly value and want and you may even notice a general enjoyment of money and what it can bring to your life.
How to use daily entries
- Open the tracker each day and take a quiet breath before you start.
- Add entries one at a time — a short label and a dollar amount.
- Keep going until the day totals exactly that day's budget (Day N × $1,000 — so $1,000 on Day 1, $2,000 on Day 2, all the way to $30,000 on Day 30).
- Hit Finish Day to lock it in.
- Check the Summary page to spot patterns over time.
Tips
- Use consistent nomenclature. Pick one name per category and reuse it so patterns become easier to spot.
- Don't judge your choices. Whatever you want to spend it on is your choice, try not to judge or let outside voices influence your choices.
- Have fun with it. This is a practice in abundance, not a budget. Enjoy the spending.
Moving forward
Once you've finished the 30 days, take a minute to assess whether you feel easier about money than when you began the tracker. Ask yourself if money feels more real and possible for you now. Celebrate where you are and where you're going!
